Rimadyl side effects can be serious, treat them quickly

There are some top notch not pain medications for dogs these days, but even Rimadyl can have some serious side effects that you should be on the look out for.  Rimadyl side effects can be very serious, so you need to monitor your pet closely when starting this medication.  While these intolerances are rare, they are serious and need to be reviewed by your vet immediately.

Appetite Loss - Rimadyl may cause a loss of appetite in your dog.  If you notice this side effect from Rimadyl you should immediately contact your vet.

Vomiting - If you dog starts vomiting at any time through the course of treatment you should take this seriously.  Sure every dog can have the occassional stomach flu, but if your dog is on Rimadyl take it seriously.

Diarrhea - Soft stools are not normal, especially if your dog is on this pain medication.

If you notice these side effects it could indicate rare but serious issues involving the digestive tract, liver or kidneys.  These side effects can be very serious and even deadly to your dog.  If you see these signs occur, discontinue Rimadyl immediately and contact your veterinarian.
