Frontline Spray makes application easy for your dog or cat
All it takes is a monthly application of Frontline Spray to keep the fleas
and ticks off of your pets. Dogs and Cats cat simply be sprayed with Frontline
every 30 days for complete protection all year long. For best results you should
apply the flea and tick preventative before the major infection season, which is
usually the summer months.
The instructions for applying Frontline to your kitten are the same as for dogs
and cats. Rubber gloves are always required for application. While ruffling the
fur of your pet simply spray at a rate of 1 to 2 pumps per pound of animal. By
rubbing your pets fur during the application, you are actually working the
medicine into the coat.
Wash your hands after spraying Frontline
For application around the face and mouth, you should spray the Frontline
onto your gloved hand and then rub it into the fur. The medicine should be
allowed to get in the eyes, nose or mouth. This medicine will remain on your pet
during moderate rain and bathing with most pet shampoos.
Frontline spray is a great preventative to flea and tick infestations. It will
kill fleas and brown ticks, American dog ticks, lone star ticks and deer ticks. All ticks are either known to carry disease or at the least can cause infection
at the site of the bite. You should protect your puppies, dogs, cats or kittens
each month with Frontline medication. More information on this and other pet
medicines can be found at our Dog Medicine or
Cat Medicine pages.
